The countries seen here are Switzerland (center left) and Austria (center right) with the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein in between. The countries at the edges of the frame are (from left, clockwise): France, Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Hungary, the former Yugoslavia (now Slovenia and part of Croatia) and Italy. Inside Italy is the tiny republic of San Marino.The pixel dimensions of the TIFF image are: 4961 x 3508
