This is a waterproof folded road & travel map of Tibet, at a scale of 1:1,850,000. Legend includes international borders, disputed borders, province/region borders, railways, main roads, connecting roads, tracks, glaciers, passes, mountains (elevation in meters), National Parks/nature reserves, wildlife reserves, caves, hot springs, international airports, airports/airfields, points of interest, ruins, museums, winter sport sites, border crossings. Inset maps include Norbulingka, Potala Area, Lhasa Valley and Barkor Area.
Interesting note, ITMB states that they delayed printing this map for six months in order to send a person into the region to locate the route of the newest railway to Lhasa accurately. It took them three years and repeated visits to the country before they could get the locations and spellings of dozens of monasteries, mountains, and villages correct.
